Question about where the mind resides.?
In today's day an age it is widely accepted that the mind or the soul resides in the brain. But once upon a time other civilizations claimed that the mind was located in other places in the body or not at all. The only civilization that I can think of is the ancient Egyptians who believed that mind was in the heart. Can anyone think of other civilizations that believed the mind is located in other places other than the brain. I am also not claiming that the mind resides in the brain as this is a deep philosophical question in which i am no where near qualified to answer, but there is overwhelming proof that the mind is intimately connected with the brain. Thanks
